Didn’t i tell you i’d be working on some more of these? See, i kept my promise! In fact, i’m going to be doing my best to add a new busy bag (and hopefully a new sensory box too) every week – so, lots of ideas coming!
This week’s busy bag is an ABC ‘color and trace’ to laminate and pop in your bag… gone is the hassle of writing out hundreds of dotted words for your little one to practice! No more printing page after page of traceables! Let your little one color the picture, then trace the word, and wipe it clean when they’re done! Easy Peasy!

Print out all the pages and cut them in half, so that each letter is on it’s own card. You could put them back to back to save on laminating sheets, or you could leave the back blank, as extra ‘drawing pages’ for your little one. Totally your choice! Laminate the cards, then punch a hole in the top corner. Tie a colorful ribbon through the hole, so that the cards are all neatly together. You can pop it in your bag with a little bunch of dry wipe markers, as an easy educational Busy-Bag option (color, trace the word, and wipe clean) and you can even untie the ribbon and use the cards as sight-word flash cards! Just cover the picture with your hand and ask your little one to see if they can tell you what it says.
I hope your little one enjoys these color and trace cards as much as i enjoyed creating them!
